About BOBO
How it started
The story started back in 2008. It was started as a physical furniture store by father & son, who had experience from furniture retail, and after some time, they decided in 2010 to create a webshop, which was built around their physical store.
This concept ran until 2015, when they decided to go different ways.
In that context, the shop was put up for sale, and as we were thinking of starting something up, taking over BOBO was worth considering.
We have experience from the online part and come from an independent family that has always dealt with furniture, so it made sense to join - although with a somewhat different plan for what BOBO should develop into in the future.
Where we are today and where we are going
Today we have a large warehouse in 7870 Roslev with an office attached, where all our operations and customer service run from.
In addition, we have an office in Aalborg, from where we create all our content on social media, for the blog and generally all our marketing, development of shop and product offerings. Here we work a lot with several different studios in Aalborg, where we have several student workers and interns engaged, who bring fresh knowledge and inspiration, which is a huge part of keeping up with the constant development, and we would not do without.
We currently have sales in Denmark, Sweden, the Faroe Islands and Greenland and the plan is to start up in more countries.
We have big ambitions. Our dream is to become the largest - and best furniture webshop in the Nordic region.
